Clasped in silver, dark, descending.
Sinking slow, toward sleep unending.
Scented fingers kiss my heart, but there’s no power to restore.
There’s the blessed and blighted door.
Kiss and song and sunrise fading.
Sinking once to rise no more
Drowning
